Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year

👋 Hello, Hafa Adai and Aloha! I’m Barbara Lott, honored to serve as your PTSA President for the 2025–26 school year. I’m mom to 8th graders Max and PJ, wife to Donald, and a longtime Livermore resident. My family is originally from Guam, and I carry with me the values of my island culture: connection, service, and community—qualities I hope to reflect in this role.

🎯 Our Priorities for the Year Ahead
As a PTSA, our work will center around three goals this year:

• Fundraising – filling resource gaps so every student has what they need.

• Membership – rebuilding a strong, representative PTSA voice.

• Community – bringing families, teachers, and staff back together.

🤝 Collaboration with School Leadership
I’m especially excited to partner with our Principal, Garret Fitch, and our new Vice Principal, Tara Rodrigues, as we align PTSA goals with school priorities. Together, we’ll focus on ensuring every student has the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

♥️ An Invitation to Join Us
Middle school goes by quickly, and our kids benefit most when we work together. Whether by becoming a member, donating to our annual campaign, volunteering your time, or simply sharing your ideas, there’s a place for everyone in PTSA.

My hope is that our MMS community becomes a place where we can connect, support one another, and ensure our kids have the best possible middle school experience.
